The Aqua wind chime has 7 bells consisting of 19mm Diameter non-rust aluminium tubing. Therefore no special care is needed to ensure continued purity of sound. The fishing swivel from which the wind chimes hang ensures the cord is not rubbed through. The eyelets in the tubing & the plugging of all drilled holes with specially adapted buttons & bronze nails ensure water does not get into any wood grain and that the cording is protected against fraying. All this adds to the quality & superior lifespan of the wind chimes.
Specially tuned, the notes of the wind chime follow a running scale.
The cord suspending the windplate on the Aqua wind chime is decorated with semi-precious stones i.e. Crystal Quartz & Turquenite beading.
The name "Aqua" wind chimes is because of their liquid sound - hence the addition of the blue tinge to the edges of the clear Perspex plates, the blue stones and the droplet shape of the windplate.
The height of the wind chimes is approx. 66cms or 26 inches. The height is taken from the top of the suspension ring to the bottom of the windplate.
