The Tibetan Wind Chime has 6 bells of non-rust anodized aluminium tubing.
This wind chime is decorated with Crystal Quartz & Red Jasper semi-precious stone beading on the cord suspending the wind plate.
These wind chimes are smaller than the Pentatonic wind chimes & also have specially treated Oak plates.
The Tibetan Buddhist monks are the only people in the world, who have specially trained their voices to sing what is known as a "One-Voice Chord".( From one sound emanates 3 overtones, which makes a chord.) The three larger tubes are representative of this chord, albeit many octaves higher.
The wind chime height is approx. 79cms / 31 inches. This height is taken from the top of the suspension ring to the bottom of the windplate.
The Tibetan wind chimes incorporate the concept of the 5 Directions (North, South, East, West & Center) and the 5 Elements of Eastern religions and Feng Shui:
1. Earth:-Represented by the stones.
2. Metal:-Aluminium tubing
3. Fire:-The branded Tibetan OM script onto the windplate. The OM is an ancient, sacred totality of all sounds penetrating & sustaining the Universe.
4. Water:- Is equivalent to the wood grain, which is reminiscent of the concentric growth rings indicating the age and annual rainfall
5. Air:- Action of the wind upon the chime.
